Durrington Club COVID-19 Rules

The club has been obliged under Government Guidance to conduct a Risk Assessment on how to reopen the club safely while minimising the risk of spreading COVID-19 to their workers or customers.

The club has undertaken a COVID-19 Risk Assessment in conjunction with the staff and whilst not formally reviewing it EHDC have indicated it meets the requirements of the obligation to undertake an assessment though changes may be needed to it in the future as we adapt to new working practices or Government Guidance or Regulations related to COVID-19 change. Such changes, where applicable, will be included on this page.

It is important to point out that the changes to club working practices and rules contained herein are specific to COVID-19 risk mitigation, all other club rules, unless they are in contravention of a COVID-19 rule, remain in force.

The following information is taken from the Risk Assessment which has been approved by the Managing Committee and an Employee Representative.

What are the Hazards? – Infection spread from surfaces and equipment infected with COVID-19. Infection spread by staff or customers with symptoms of COVID-19.

They are also to be advised that in the event of adverse weather conditions they cannot seek shelter indoors unless social distancing and venue limits can be maintained.
